Our goal is first and foremost to please Allah (swt). Secondarily it is to bring Muslims together, especially the youth, through joyful play and enjoyment. We hope to create for our youth what we had when we were younger - an opportunity to meet other Muslim youth from all nationalities in our town and come together on common grounds to create long lasting friendships.
We work with ISGH and our sponsors to bring an Islamic environment to the game of basketball. Our vision is to work with all Muslims and Muslim organizations to facilitate good will within the community. All funds are deposited into an ISGH account specifically designated for the basketball league. Any money spent is approved by the AD of the SE Zone Masjid. Full transparency is available on this site for everyone to see how much money is in the account and where the money is going.
We are uniquely different from other organizations because we are NOT a new organization. We work within the ISGH framework to bring quality youth programs to the Masjid. Because we work within the ISGH all donations are tax deductible and receipts will be issued for all donations.
Muslimbball.com is currently being run by Salman Khan and Chad Mohammed. Salman Khan is currently the Youth direcotr for the SE zone Masjid has authority to use the multipurpose hall to create a youth basketball league. We hope to get this project started and then be able to hand off the running of the league to our younger generation.
